The packaging market is developing more rapidly

The growth of the packaging market, especially from recycled materials, requires large quantities of secondary raw materials. The fact that packaging products are now often made from recycled materials is a positive trend. This is driven by the steadily increasing demand for sustainable development. Such a system requires the implementation of a closed-loop consumption system. We have discussed this cycle repeatedly. As a reminder, used products, such as paper, are not sent to landfills or destroyed, but are returned to production through recycling.

However, as experts note, although the volume of recycling of print paper cuttings and other secondary raw materials is increasing due to the demand for the final product, it is still not sufficient to fully transition to circular production. Of course, new recycling facilities are opening in many countries every year. However, due to the current situation, where large quantities of waste are generated, their capacity is insufficient to meet all the needs of packaging manufacturers using recycled materials. Ultimately, it can be concluded that all efforts should be directed towards the construction of factories capable of processing larger volumes of used products.
