Scientists around the world are concerned about the impact of modern materials on the environment. It turned out that concrete, which is used in construction, has a very negative impact on the environment. Therefore, scientists began to search for alternative solutions. They are considering options created on the basis of waste paper, including OCC11 waste paper, as well as PET – a material that is widely used in the production of plastic products. Naturally, we are talking about used PET, that is, about waste that is formed due to the fact that this material has already been used.
As a result of research in this area, scientists have already stated that it is possible to use secondary raw materials, both paper and plastic, to replace concrete mortar. Research and experiments in this area are impressive. The solution created from these components is not much inferior to the concrete composition. The main component will also be sand, but this is an environmentally friendly material, there are no complaints about it. And if you add secondary raw materials to it in a certain ratio, the composition becomes durable, which is important, since concrete, as we know, is highly durable.
