Europe considers it necessary to make important decisions in the field of waste paper collection and recycling. And this is encouraging, because the situation in the world regarding waste requires the right approaches. We are selling wastepaper OCC11 and other waste paper, and we know how much waste is generated in different countries. Therefore, we definitely support all decisions aimed at developing the recycling industry. In particular, in Spain it was decided to make changes to the waste collection system. New containers for separate waste collection, more capacious and modern bins will be installed, which will allow collecting more sorted waste.
The decision of the Spanish authorities will affect containers intended for collecting waste paper, paper, cardboard, which have already been used. The authorities hope that their decisions will increase the collection of secondary paper raw materials. Of course, in parallel, it will be necessary to solve the issues of increasing the volume of recycling. But, as practice shows, European countries are seriously concerned about solving these issues. Therefore, one should not think that the Spanish authorities will not be able to find a way out of the situation when the volumes of waste paper raw materials increase significantly.
