Waste paper recycling has become a profitable business. Not only large enterprises are engaged in this activity, but even not very large entrepreneurs. New production points are opening all over the world where used paper is recycled. For example, in India, two comrades decided to recycle waste paper and produce office supplies from it. They successfully managed to start a business. They have already achieved very impressive volumes of their activity. Their aspirations are not so much to make a profit, but rather to save natural resources.
What natural resources are we talking about? First of all, this is the forest fund. As you know, paper is made from wood. Accordingly, trees are cut down for this purpose. Trees do not grow quickly, their number is decreasing everywhere, where paper and pulp enterprises operate. Another resource is water. It is needed less for waste paper recycling than for the production of primary cellulose. Another resource is energy. And it also needs an order of magnitude less for the implementation of the recycling process. The fact that people have thought about preserving resources is immensely pleasing. But questions still arise, for example: “Where are recycle print paper cuttings?” But those who have thought about preserving natural resources already have answers to such questions.
