Vietnamese recycler receives investment

Waste paper

A local paper recycling company in Vietnam is celebrating a successful new venture: it has secured an investment from an external—and international—firm. This development is a highly positive step, as it will enable the company to boost its operational efficiency—work that is, incidentally, of great value to both society and the environment. It is worth noting that the enterprise does not merely recycle paper; it also manufactures packaging products from the recycled material.

The investment amounts to 5 million US dollars—a substantial sum that will allow the Vietnamese recycling firm to further expand its operations. What prompted this investment? There has been a strong increase in demand for packaging made from recycled paper, including 11 OCC cardboard.Recognizing this, the foreign investor seized the opportunity to back a company that has been achieving significant production success in this sector. This is a welcome development not only for the recycling firm itself but for Vietnam as a whole, as it will lead to higher rates of waste recycling and a reduction in overall trash.
